Unfortunately, recent research from online recruitment marketplace TalentPuzzle reveals that business owners and HR professional’s perceptions of recruitment agencies are not always as positive.

According to the survey, UK businesses are currently spending around two and a half billion pounds on external recruitment each year. 76% of the companies surveyed however felt that they were not getting value for money.

At Yellow Cat Recruitment, our recruitment fee rates are typically around the 15-20% mark. The TalentPuzzle survey reports that 77% of companies spoken to find that recruitment rates and rebates were inconsistent, with some paying as much as 30% in placement fees.

Despite this, employers understand the value of working with recruitment agencies, with 92% saying they were planning to use an agency in the next six months.
